Special Olympics Maryland - Carroll County
Special Olympics is where athletes with intellectual disabilities celebrate and are celebrated for their accomplishments. It's often the first time that our athletes have truly taken center stage and been recognized as individuals. And the focus is not limited to sports. In diverse areas like healthcare, leadership training, legislative self advocacy and employment, Special Olympics takes a leadership role.

Stacey Davis Breast Cancer Fund
The purpose of the Stacey Davis Breast Cancer Fund is to perpetuate the character, ideals and goals of Stacey Davis by providing financial resources to breast cancer patients in Carroll County who are in need of assistance. Such support may include but is not limited to stipends for uncovered medical expenses, supplies, prostheses and travel-related expenses for the patient, family or unrelated caregiver to and from treatment centers. At the sole discretion of the Grant Review Committee, funds may also be expended for projects that will give comfort and support to or improve the quality of life for individuals living with breast cancer.

The Westminster Lions Club
The purpose of the Lions Club is to provide a civic and social organization for professional and business people in the vicinity with service dedicated to the principles of good government, good citizenship, and community service. The Westminster Lions Club provides financial and other support for programs such as the Cancer Society, Red Cross, Maryland Eye Bank, Westminster Fire Department, Carroll County Hospital, Carroll County Hospice, Therapeutic Riding, Diabetes Association, and ARC of Carroll County.

Good News Jail & Prison Ministry
Good News provides spiritually mature, equipped, and motivated Christian chaplains to serve in correctional facilities nationally and internationally. Our chaplains meet the spiritual needs of both inmates and staff through ministry that includes evangelism, discipleship, and pastoral attention, while facilitating other religious faiths within the guidelines established by law and the individual correctional facility.
